And the tip is to pronounce your consonant right

with some of my friends
所以就举一个非常简单的例子
So I’m just gonna give you a very short example
如果你想说
So if you want to say
请给我来一杯水
I would like a bottle of water
还有另一种方式去说这句话
There is a another way say it
这种方式还经常被大家嘲笑
And people always make fun of it
那就是
Is to say
（请原谅我蹩脚的英国北方口音）
I would like a bole o waer
如果你比较一下这两种发音
So if you compare these two sentences
你会发现第二种发音的问题
You will find that the problem of the second sentence
就在于把辅音都吞进去了
Is that the person doesn’t pronounce the consonant out
这也是为什么这句话变得这么含糊不清
So this is why this sentence sounds very unclear
尽管这个技巧好像听起来挺简单
Although this sounds like a very simple tip
但是我也是直到本科之后才知晓
I didn’t find out until I go to my undergrats study
所以其实我一直都是下意识地在说很清晰的英文
So I’ve been actually unconsciously speaking very clear English
但是自己却不知道为什么
Without knowing exactly why
是在大学期间

English courses in my undergrats study
我的美国英语老师告诉我们
that my English teacher told us that
英语母语者也会有发音不清晰的问题
Even native speakers can speak very “unclear” English
原因就在于他们没有把辅音发清楚
And the problem is they are not pronouncing the consonant right
