《朱迪》是作家亚当-特洛伊•卡斯特罗的又一部黑暗系闪小说，主要讲述了男主与爱人“朱迪”驾驶飞船行驶在茫茫宇宙中，驶到荒芜人烟的一处星球时，朱迪不幸轰然晕倒致死，男主伤心欲绝，驶离星球的故事。
着陆之前，他们渴望着发现新大陆，开启新冒险，名扬千古。可惜离开星球之时只剩一人，那白茫茫的孤寂星球上生命寥落，寸草不生，白皑皑的尘土弥漫着死亡的气息，四周孤寂空洞，所以男主在其死后并未耽搁，驶船而去，他忽觉生命的脆弱，自己对星空的敏感矍铄也荡然无存，他顺着不大不小的光点走出虚无，任凭飞船向前进，因为朱迪对他来说不仅是爱人更是领航员—他无法掌舵，时醒时睡，过了无数的星球，最后来到一处与之前上岸一样的星球，其实每颗星球都很相似，荒芜人烟，那是因为人类文明在与敌对文明相互竞争的过程中毁掉了家园，致使这对鸳鸯苦命流离......
朱迪的死压倒了男主的最后一根救命稻草，文中并没提及具体死因，但是正是这突如其来的死亡，使得读者能与男主建立起心灵的共鸣，也彰显出作者对人类文明发展的质疑和忠告：守护家园，保护自己的爱人亲人朋友不受战争等灭顶之灾

The author again warned us of the significance that sustainability of a civilization exerts on our lives. His designed end carries stark emptiness and precious beauty enthralling humans, a contrast calling for more humans to protect our shared homeland—Earth.
