China is actively working to boost inbound tourism by now offering duty free shopping to all tourists during their stay. International travelers shopping in China can now claim tax refunds directly in stores thanks to a new initiative.
中国正积极推动入境旅游发展，目前向所有在中国停留的游客提供免税购物服务。得益于新举措，国际游客在中国购物时可直接在店内办理退税。
The new tax refund policy, which took effect on April 8, allows foreign visitors to receive immediate cash refunds at participating stores by presenting their passport, receipts, and a completed application form, bypassing the often time-consuming process at airports.
这项新退税政策自4月8日起生效，允许外国游客在参与此政策的商店里，仅凭出示护照、购物小票和填好的申请表，即可当场获得现金退税，省去了以往在机场办理时繁琐耗时的退税流程。
