Reflections on Grading TEM-8 Writing
In May 2025, I went to Shanghai International Studies University to grade the TEM-8 papers for six days.
During this process, I gained a lot in terms of English and mindset. So I want to share it with everyone here. It is mainly divided into two points.
One is technical ability, that is, the specific methods of English writing. The other is mental strength, that is, some things I gained from other excellent teachers around me.
The full score for the composition in the TEM-8 is 20 points. Then, when grading the papers, it is mainly graded from the following four aspects: summary, comment, language, and structure.
