0Abuya: the story of an agritech & foodtech founder in Nigeria
Abuya, a female entrepreneur from Nigeria, is the founder of FarmCon. In this episode, she shares her story as a tech entrepreneur to tackle the problem of high food costs in Nigeria, as well as her insights on the startup scenes of the country. More importantly, she believes that through empowerment and persistence, more and more female entrepreneurs are thriving in Africa. As GMI（Global Mom's Initiative) Nigeria Chapter Lead, she has initiated ImpactBridge Africa, a project aims to close the resource and digital skill gap among small business owners (mostly women and mothers) in Nigeria. When resources are scarce, systems are imperfect, and bias is real, choosing to build is an act of courage. This is a conversation about resilience and creating impact from the margins.
