Different species of tea from different regions of China have different characteristics in terms of aroma, taste etc. Oolong tea for example has floral aroma. 2. With regards to consumer behavior, western consumers in general prefer standardized tea and tea with floral aroma. In Southeast Asia, consumers are also very interested in localized flavor tea, for example pandan tea. 3. Though China has a big online shopping market, in Southeast Asia, tea is more suited for offline retail and travel retail.
