Li Chun, the Beginning of Spring, is the first of the 24 solar terms. Just the name itself is brimming with hope. "Li" means to start or to establish. It's like the moment when a baby stands up firmly and solemnly in the long corridor of time. Ancient books say: "Li means the beginning of establishment. The energy of spring begins and takes root.” From this day on, the sun reaches 315 degrees of the ecliptic longitude, and the handle of the Big Dipper points to the position of Yin. In the grand astronomical observations of the ancients, spring has officially arrived.
