Painted Pottery Vase with Human-head-shaped Spout, as a treasure of Dadiwan Culture, this vase is in Gansu Museum, 31.8cm tall and dating back 5800 years. With a human-faced spout and black Yellow River patterns, it was fired at 900℃ with Yellow River red clay and unearthed in Gansu in 1973. Interpreted as female worship in matriarchal society, it was made without blueprints, embodying ancestors' reverence for life and pursuit of beauty, a "living history".
