My dog had surgery several days ago. I took him outside and he couldn't pee, but I didn't realize that was a problem. Because he always peed a little, just to mark his spot.
At night, he started yelling at me. He went to his toilet many times, but only peed a little bit. Then I searched online and found out this is a serious and urgent thing. So I took him to the hospital immediately.
The doctor said there were many stones in his bladder. We had to do surgery right away. Oh my god, that scared me. It was the first time I signed a surgery agreement.
The surgery went well and took two hours. Finally, my dog was back. Thank god! I'm so happy!
But I need to take care of him for the next ten days, and I'll take him to have the stitches removed after that.
So this year I can't go back home for the Spring Festival. I returned my ticket.
My dog has accompanied me for eight years. I adopted him when he was three months old. We have spent so many wonderful times. He means a lot to me.
So I don't want to put him in a pet hotel. I'm afraid his wound might reopen or get infected. So I decided to take good care of him myself instead. It's okay. I will go back home after he recovers.
