This afternoon, Secretary Clinton halted [中止] the proceeding after learning that Republican Representative Lauren Boebert had leaked [泄漏] a photo of her to a conservative social media influencer [网红] on X. House rules bar unauthorized [未经授权的] photos during an ongoing deposition [作证]. The panel's Republican chair says it will look into exclusive investigative reporting by NPR that found Epstein files related to President Trump are missing from the public record. Here's NPR's Sage Miller. Kentucky Congressman James Comer was asked if he is concerned about a possible cover-up [掩盖] by the Justice Department after NPR discovered documents that accused Trump of sexual abuse of a minor were withheld [被暂扣]. We're looking into the accusation by the NPR. We don't know the answer to that. We know what the administration says. We're still looking to get a definitive [确定的] answer on that. NPR's previous reporting found documents from a woman who said she was sexually abused by Trump when she was a young teenager. The FBI interviewed her four times, but only one interview was published in the DOJ's public Epstein files database.

The latest round of talks between the United States and Iran have ended in Geneva [日内瓦], but will resume [继续] soon, according to the mediator [调停人] for the negotiations. NPR's Jaina Rav has details. Oman's [安曼] foreign minister, Badr al-Bosayedi, said there had been significant progress in the two negotiating sessions he mediated on Thursday. He did not elaborate [详述]. The Omani diplomat [外交官] also said technical-level talks would take place next week in Vienna [维也纳], where the International Atomic Energy Agency [国际原子能机构], which was also at the talks, is based. The position of the two sides has seemed far apart. President Trump insists that Iran end its nuclear program and give up long-range ballistic missiles [远程弹道导弹]. Iran insists it has a right [权利] to enrich uranium [浓缩铀] for peaceful purposes and won't give up the conventional weapons. Jaina Rav, Oman.

Memorial services [葬礼] for the Reverend [牧师] Jesse Jackson are being held across the country starting today in Chicago. Jackson's casket [灵柩] was escorted [被护卫] this morning into the Rainbow Push Coalition [彩虹推动联盟（一个民权组织）] headquarters [总部], as heard here through the Associated Press [美联社]. Memorial services are also expected to be held in Washington, D.C. and South Carolina, where he was born. Jackson died last week at the age of 84.

President Trump's White House ballroom [舞厅] project can proceed for now. NPR's Tamara Keith reports a U.S. district judge denied a preservation [保育组织] group's effort to pause construction. The National Trust for Historic Preservation argued the president hadn't followed the proper procedure in tearing down [扒掉] the East Wing of the White House and soliciting [收取] private donations to fund the $300 million ballroom. In his opinion, Judge Richard Leon wrote that he couldn't consider the merits [价值] of the, quote, novel and weighty issues raised by the challenge because of the way the suit had been framed. He suggested he would move quickly to reconsider if the suit were tweaked [微调，修改]. In a social media post, Trump called the opinion great news for America and said the ballroom is ahead of schedule and under budget. Tamara Keith, the White House.

Walmart says it has agreed to settle deceptive practices [欺诈性的操作] claims by the federal government for $100 million. The Federal Trade Commission and 11 states accused the retail giant of misleading delivery drivers about their pay and tips, causing them to lose tens of millions of dollars worth of earnings [收入].
