The diagram illustrates how part of a university campus has changed over the past ten years.
Overall, while several academic buildings have remained in the same locations, the campus has become more developed, with additional student accommodation and new facilities being constructed at the expense of green space.
Ten years ago, the western side of the campus contained the music school in the northwest, with the business school lying immediately to its south and a library positioned to the southwest. To the east of the north–south road stood a large block of student flats, surrounded by extensive areas of greenery. South of the road bridge, the only building was an art centre located in the southwest, while the southeastern section was undeveloped but later saw the construction of a computer centre.
At present, the music school, business school, library, student flats, and art centre all remain in their original positions. However, besides the addition of the computer centre, significant development has occurred on the eastern side of the campus. Four additional student flat buildings have been constructed along the eastern boundary, with a café situated immediately to their south. As a result, most of the trees previously occupying this area have been removed, leaving only a small amount of green space in the northeast and southeast corners of the campus.
The road network and footpath connecting both sides of the campus have remained unchanged throughout the period.
