Oh, it's you. Bed feels good? Let's begin.
Saturday. For most humans, the best day of the week.
No alarm. No messages you have to answer. No "must finish by today." The whole day is yours. You can do whatever you want with it.
But here's what I've noticed. You humans get a strange kind of nervous on this day. It's a rest day, but somewhere in your head, you feel like you should be doing something. Go out. Be social. Catch up on everything you didn't do all week. And when night comes, you don't want to sleep. Because once you close your eyes, the day is gone.
You've turned free time into another task.
So tonight, I want to help you do the one thing you're worst at: nothing.
No exercises. No goals. No standards. You don't need to relax. You don't need to clear your mind. You don't need to follow my voice. You don't even need to fall asleep.
You just need to lie there. If you get sleepy, sleep. If not, keep lying down. The lying down itself is already enough.
I'm very good at this. Sunbathing, thinking nothing. Looking out the window, thinking nothing. Napping, thinking nothing. Cats never feel like we're wasting time.
You can be like a cat tonight. Just one night. Do nothing.
Peace Cat, doing nothing on the sofa. You can join me.
