Sweeping US Sanctions on Iran and Oil Threat | 美国对伊发起史上最大金融攻势 伊朗威胁封锁海湾石油
Scott Bessent, America's treasury secretary, announced a new set of sanctions against Iran that he claimed would be "the single greatest financial offensive ever marshalled against an adversary". He also threatened secondary measures against Iran's trading partners but said they would be given time to comply. Iran vowed to retaliate, warning that "not a single drop of oil" would leave the Gulf if the pressure continued. China, which last year bought 90% of Iranian oil exports, said that its trade with Iran "should not be interfered with or disrupted".

US Long-Dated Bond Yields Stabilise Following Treasury Intervention | 美财政部意外干预回购 美长债收益率震荡趋稳
The yields on American long-dated government bonds stabilised after a choppy week. The yields on 30-year bonds recently reached their highest levels since 2007, before a surprise intervention from the Treasury, through which it doubled its bond repurchases. That had the immediate effect of pushing yields lower, though they climbed soon after as investors questioned the wisdom of the plan. Speculation increased that Scott Bessent, the treasury secretary, would increase the size of the bond buy-backs by tapping the Treasury's General Account, held at the Federal Reserve.
经历动荡的一周之后，美国长期国债收益率趋于稳定。30年期国债收益率近期一度创下2007年以来新高，随后美国财政部出台意外干预措施，将国债回购规模翻倍。此举立刻压低了收益率，不过不久之后收益率再度回升，投资者开始质疑这项计划是否可行。越来越多人猜测，美国财政部长斯科特·贝森特将会动用存放在美联储的财政部一般账户资金，进一步扩大国债回购规模。
