精神类疾病诊疗长期存在诊断模糊、药物起效慢副作用大的痛点，科研团队发现外泌体可穿越血脑屏障，既能作为液体活检工具辅助精准诊断，还能通过鼻腔递送药物快速改善抑郁等症状，目前相关研究仍处于早期动物实验阶段。
